"In order to keep our contest entry fees low, we needed our costs low. Having a 1-800 number and an employee to staff the phone was an expense we didn't need. Also, it is much easier to receive e-mails from international authors and publishers. Any author or publisher that wishes to talk via phone is more than welcome to make an appointment with us via e-mail.”
